Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

I'm pretty sure Tony Temple went to Rockhurst.

Mayfield might end up being Mahomes' arch-rival, which I think could turn out great for the league in terms of dramatic playoff match-ups, but I was really thinking about QBs/teams with a bit more experience, kind of a goalpost for Mahomes to reach for in the early part of his career. Kind of like how Jordan had Isaiah Thomas and the Pistons to overcome before becoming the GOAT.
I would easily take Mayfield over Watson. He reminds me a lot of Flutie except mostly normal height and better arm strength. A slippery guy who looks to throw first over running.

Luck took out a full page ad in yesterday’s Indianapolis Star. The guy is a class act.
