Agree.
Except we’re going to sweep you next year, if you’re lucky enough to make the playoffs |

I don’t agree with the Cheatriots hyperfocus but you guys did cheat. In a real way. Not like tampering. Like steroid users in baseball, you’ll never overcome that stigma and it’s fair.
I was one of the fans who thought this was our game and our year. Brady played outstanding down the stretch with a hat tip to our defense which was a joke. You win that one, but Chiefs fans being excited and optimistic doesn’t mean anything. We just want to win. And are desperate. I agree with your take on the game. And I’ll take any even up bets that we get farther than the Patriots next season. Thanks for waiting 48hrs to post this. You’re not trolling but you still have a fanbase that’s vile and deserves none of this. You’re okay. |

All the Patriots fans think ALL of the dislike towards their team is envy..."They hate us 'cause they ain't us". They're in so much denial about the shame they should have about what their team did. They'll never understand but in this country people HATE cheaters...no matter how successful their cheating benefits them...just ask Lance Armstrong.

not going to discredit the big time throws , the leadership, the pre-snap adjustments, the dedication TB12 puts out there BUT .. When you see how close all of the pats games have finished in year's past you absolutely cannot down play the cheating that they were caught doing. it gives them just enough of an edge to get over the top. makes you wonder what other dishonesty was going on that wasn't seen. |

It's certainly ruined the expectations for all fan bases. Now every fan base wants to be the next dynasty dominating for the next 20 seasons. That shit is never going to happen again. What the Patriots have is a perfect storm.

If I was a Pats fan I'd be in therapy. Seriously, how can you sleep at night knowing how the NFL gifts you all your trophies? You MUST feel guilty if you have any conscious at all.

Patriots went around 10 years during Brady's career without winning a title so they are not a dynasty but just have surpassed what the Niners did. Sure the Patriots made the Super Bowl as favorites two of those years but they still didn't win it.
In my opinion, the dislike of everything Trump is somewhat equivalent to the dislike of everything Patriots. I can see fans during two periods getting super sick of Patriots in Super Bowl but unless you are a Dolphins/Jets/Bills fan and perhaps around 30 years old and under, the Patriots really haven't ruined much. Steelers twice, Baltimore, Colts, Broncos, Rams, Giants twice, Eagles, Seahawks, Green Bay, New Orleans have all won Super Bowl titles since Patriots won their first Super Bowl. Patriots only have 5 Super Bowl titles with Brady which is the same the Niners got with Montana/Young and less than what Michael Jordan won with the Bulls. Admittedly, I despised Montana/Niners but I never felt they dominated so much that they ruined football and prevented other teams outside of their division at least from winning and having very good seasons. If there is any sort of dislike towards a Boston sports team by folks under 35, it should be directed against Red Sox teams since what teams like the Yankees/Red Sox and to a lesser extend Dodgers (they haven't won but they have spent a ton at times) has in large part ruined baseball for most teams that can't spend around league average or above. A team like the Baltimore Orioles had a really nice baseball tradition but since they are in the same division as the Red Sox and Yankees, deck stacked against them. Tampa Bay usually has deck stacked heavily against them as well. NFL is obviously different with salary cap. Teams should be copying more of what Patriots do which really comes down to wisely managing the cap and valuing roster depth over having tons of high priced stars. Hard for Jets/Dolphins/Bills to compete in same division without a very good QB but literally every other NFL team doesn't have that excuse. |
