I'm not optimistic BUT if he wants big $$ he will have to earn it with good CB play.

Revis could have a career day against the Bills quarterback they put out there.

Which also might be another reason he did not sign early on is because he knew he was still overweight and would not pass a workout/physical and needed the 1st half of the season to shed that weight.

Not sure if you are joking or what.
Revis was burnt by Taylor to Goodwin and Watkins.

Partly joking/sarcasm but the Bills Quarterback threw five picks last week.

It's like playing Brian Hoyer but come playoffs we can't beat good Quarterbacks.

Revis is earning $6 million from the Jets this season and signed a 2 year deal with the Chiefs.

No guaranteed money, Vet Minimum (Pro-Rated) in 2017 with some incentives, $10 million in 2018 if he's not cut before the League Year starts in March.

Don't you people read anything other that what's posted on Chiefsplanet?

I'm laughing because SS( god bless his heart )just HAD to throw down the "he'd better be a good cub scout"-shit...

Anyway, the main thing I'm liking about this, is that I like having elite, or once elite vets around in the different positions so that the young talent( assuming we even HAVE anyone outside of Peters)can get a good look at what these guys do in their prep and on the field.
They don't even have to be a mentor, they're just there and doing what they do.
And if he contributes, all the better.

this was a no brainer. All we need is him to be better than Gaines. If not we are not out shit. How do we lose anything on this deal?

Revis is automatically the 3rd best cornerback on this team, if not the 2nd best.

Peters and Revis on the outside with Nelson in the slot looks pretty damn good, especially since Revis is back to his playing weight (208) versus last year when he was 220 coming off a wrist injury.

Ragland and KPL have made strides in the past few weeks. Ragland is a 3 down LBer which means that Sorenson stays at Safety, instead of dropping into the LB spot, also helps the secondary.

I'm not expecting Revis Island but his presence should be a huge upgrade to a team that at this point in time, really needs a spark.

Nothing. If he's awful, the Chiefs aren't out a penny.

If he's average, the Chiefs secondary gets a huge boost.

If he's above average, the defense will be playoff ready.
