*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That's it. No internet losers. No former high school QBs who think translating classic QB technique they learned from their coaches to what Mahomes does and can do is a good idea.

Go use that shit on Sam Darnold or some other mortal for whom that advice might be useful.

Agree but its obvious he can get better. He admits to not being able to read defenses until the middle of his first year. Obvious room for growth.

Watching his highlights this off season. It's obvious he makes less mistakes, bad throws. But, he still does from time to time.

I don't think anyone has said this is the best he can be........ A better Mahomes? exciting times.

2019 season is hard to judge because of the injury problems, which started in the first half of the very first game. I think he will keep getting better with more experience, no doubt. When you look at the trajectory of other great QBs in the last 20 years, it is scary to think what he will be around age 30. Not even 25 yet, haha.

Back to the subject of Mahomes' most underrated starts, I present for your consideration the Raiders game from September of last year -

DJLN isn't wrong saying Mahomes' Titans start might be his most underrated from last season, coming off that knee injury and going off like he did, but I feel like this game is overlooked just because it's the Raiders and we were expected to dominate. No way that isn't a repost in this thread, but I could watch it daily because Kollman does an amazing job breaking this game down.

It is interesting how a guy who had no idea Mahomes would be good because he went to Texas Tech now wants to layout a footwork improvement video.

Mahomes puts such a nice touch on the ball along with near-perfect placement. I am expecting to see drop % go down this year since we are bringing back the same guys. I think we will be setting some records this year.
