Beta details are emerging...franchise mode upgrades are interesting...

The game starts off with the first level of perks for the home team, and every play (the bigger the play, the bigger the influence) has an effect on the momentum bar.

Picture it like below, H meaning Home team perk, A meaning Away team perk.

A->A->(H)->H->H

After a big play for the home team it could move to unlock the second tier of perks for the home team.

A->A->H->(H)->H

But wait! The away team just got a pick six swinging the momentum their way!

A->(A)->H->H->H

Perks are things like disabling hot routes for primary receivers, delayed motion, play art hints, primary receiver hints, etc. The higher the tier of perk, the more powerful the perk. Nothing game-breaking though, which is good.

Yep. They don't give a damn about the game now. They can put out the same bullshit every year and there's millions of idiots buying up packs in MUT anyway. Madden died when MUT became a thing. It's been over for years now. They try to get the hopeful franchise people back with empty promises but most of them realize now it'll never change.

They added a ton of stuff to franchise mode this year, actually.

But who knows if it will work...I mean resetting the scores of franchise games to 0 is devastatingly awful programming.

Adding features to make a deeper franchise mode is only half of it for me. I want them to overhaul the gameplay. It's gotten so stale. It's felt the same for the past decade. The stupid animation based scripted gameplay got really old. I know **** all about video game engines, but I've seen many people complain about the Frostbite Engine using "real player motion" and how they need to scrap it and use something more physics based.

Who cares when game play is pure garbage as is the sim engine. Franchise is a ****ing disaster in 2022. Inexcusable

Even if they did do that they'd be years away from an actually fun playable game that used physics instead of these predetermined animations. I'd love it if they did but I don't realistically see them doing that unless they're forced to by competition.

The amount of game breaking bugs at launch this year is insane. List of what I've seen so far.

Aforementioned bug where your score and team stats revert to 0.

Horribly slow menu times.

Blinding light when in the draft on franchise.

Not being able to trade RTs in the trade center. LT is listed twice instead.

Regular season games acting like preseason so all your skill position players sit after one drive mad you can't get them back in.

I have ea access for my kid so I fired it up on PC last night

wtf bruh, this game is WORSE Than last year! Not talking about the features, etc., but the gameplay. Even the AI is dumb, the tackles are all weird, and I NEVER had any weird bugs like you see on YouTube last year.

This year I completed a pass, I'm about 11 yards downfield and all the sudden whistle is called and in for a 3 yard pass. Literally, a lineman fell down and as soon as he touched the ground I was 'downed' LOL WHAT? I had the ball way down the field, my lineman did not have the ball!

its wierd and shifty and you can just tell its ****in off
