Here’s why you don’t start Mahomes

First of all, our schedule is very easy from here on out. We have 6 games left with four of them being home games. As much as it pains me to say this, Alex very well could get it together and we’ll have a shot at getting some value for him. We bench him now, we won’t get shit, period. Let him pad those stats baby!!!!!

Mahomes has no chemistry with the first team players, he needs a full off-season to mesh with those guys. If he starts or sits, either way we have no chance at a Super Bowl run. This defense is atrocious. If Mahomes lays an egg (which is highly likely) it’ll just knock his confidence down. There’s no reason to risk an injury on a player when this team isn’t going anywhere with or without him playing. Last thing we need is for him to come in and get concussed. Be smart, put the beer down and calm the **** down. The remaining schedule should be a breeze for Smitty to rack up some decent stats.

I love you all and it’ll all be okay!!!!

Just as much as it is a cop out to say, "If you don't like what we have to say, then leave!" it's also a cop out to say, "If you know so much where's your NFL team?"

Nobody on this forum is an NFL coach. Okay? Nobody on this forum is an NFL GM. In fact, nobody on ANY NFL forum is a coach or GM.

All we have are our opinions and what we see as fans. Some are more informed than others, and some are better at arguing than others. That's why we talk about this stuff. Because we're fans.

It's just as dismissive to tell somebody to leave this place as it is dismissive to say, "Your opinion isn't valid because you don't have Andy Reid's job."

Smitty has done his job. They brought him here to change the culture to winning. You don't go from 2-14 to winning SBs every season..You can't blame Smitty for all of the Chiefs problems no matter how much you want to.

As far as coming to beat my ass I would say something back but it is a holiday.

Look at Dallas? How are they playing out without run game and the stout o-line? Just look, they can't store for shit. Please don't tell me that Alex is the only guy who will struggle if you make the attach one dimensional. It happens with every team and every QB, almost. Unless you Brady or Rodgers, and even then they need some legit receivers. There aren't many of them.

Shit even patriots run the ball and they believe in that. I am sick and tired of everyone here pretending like Alex is the only QB who may struggle with absolutely no run game and average o-line and lack at wide receiving core. Hill is not 100%, Kelce is only legit guy is has and he has no problem hitting him. But the teams an easily take that away. Rest are rookie receivers that will take time to gel.

I thank god you guys are coaches because you couldn't separate your personal hate from smith from whats the right thing to do for the team. Mahomes isn't gonna get it all done, no run game and barely any receivers. Lets put a rookie in to a situation where he won't have the a great supporting cast and no run game. SMH.

Look at Cowboys the are not even half as good without a run game! You have to run the ball, hell even patriots know that!

You can try but you can't blame Alex Smith for everything. We've run plenty of formations with a bunch of lineman/TEs built to run on any defense and failed to do it. That has nothing to do with Smitty.

You want to blame one person for the team's failures because you don't understand football

You are a f**king loser who is simply jealous of Smitty's success.

Smitty's success?

Tyreek wasn't 100% for one half. It doesn't explain the other parts of the 4.5 games where he was healthy and if he was hurt, he sure doesn't show it because the all 22 shows him consistently getting open on deep routes. Demarcus Robinson is getting open plenty.

Most teams struggle to run the ball when defenses load 8 in the box. It's pretty simple. Defenses are doing nothing to guard deep zone. Nothing. They're loading up against the run and the blitz, and their coverage is exclusively in the flats. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize the solution is to make defenses respect the middle to deep zone. Defenses are running the same damn defense and it is schemed to dare the qb to throw the ball. And our qb refuses to do it.

Well, no chance of significantly fixing the team next year without getting rid of Smith's over paid cap number. So I guess your only option to fix the supporting cast is to get rid of Smith.

Bye Felicia.
