*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That tells you all you need to know about what the guy who drafted the right one thought about ours
I thought I knew everything there was to know about the story of how the Chiefs drafted Mahomes, but I've somehow forgotten this bit. Was it Dorsey/Reid's pre-draft press conference that this happened?

That doesn't sound like something Reid would say publicly.

I'm gonna need more than a message board re-enactment to believe this shit. This very Un-Andy.

Is that the first time Mahomes has thrown out of the end zone?

To me, all bias aside, this seems like a given. He's John Elway with much better accuracy, especially on the run. Or Manning with better mobility and improv.

We had 3 WR receiving TDs in the second quarter of yesterday's game. In 2014, we didn't have a single WR receiving TD in 64 quarters. Mahomes could make Jason Avant look like Megatron.

The game just looks so ridiculously slow for him. We are absolutely witnessing greatness and just imagine how much pleasure we have coming to us over the next decade. It's not an exaggeration to say it is a life-changing experience for a lot of us.

The Bonos and Grbacs and Cassells and Palkos and Croyles were probably worth it.

Don't forget Smith. Mahomes probably wouldn't be here if he wasn't our QB.

The article in The Ringer today regarding Mr. Mahomes is great! Makes you appreciate what he has done in just two games even more.

I’d consider having him wear preventative knee braces on both legs like college linemen do.
