*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Not only are they probably predisposed to being kinda into shoes, they probably have every Tom, Dick and Nike throwing ****ing shoes at them hoping they will endorse that shit.

I dont think we will score slower than last season, but extending drives gives more scores and so does more possessions.
Not sure where the less opportunities comes from, unless Andy decides to take the foot off the gas.
Did anybody watch the 1st preseason game. Our defense gave up a 75 yard 7:30 drive. Our offense came back and scored in around 1:30.

Our defense this year isn't giving up 7:30 drives on a regular basis. Cut that in half. And Mahomes is still getting us home quick. We're getting more scoring opps this year. Book it!

Should have been a 2-minute drive with a turn over for the Chiefs. Refs still don't know what a ****ing catch is.

Dude is about to make 200 million dollars what stuff would you prefer he buys other than shoes? Are boats materialistic? Because old dudes would buy a huge ass boat in a nanosecond if they had 200 million dollars, you know it's true.

Materialistic. Give me a break George Brett was probably shipping in hookers from eastern europe on a pipeline. Have you ever seen George Brett's house? Me neither the difference is social media.

None of us should know what his house looks like. But since I do I find that craftsman to be modest and tasteful and if he wants a glass display for his sunglasses and shoes go hog wild young man.

Old rich dudes would be like harumph how materialistic and then turn around and blow 200 grand on a wine cellar the same day.

In BITTER cold with swirling wind in the 2nd half of the AFC championship game I might add. I mean when you really think about it...to score 31 points in a HALF in those conditions is unreal. In fact I don't think many QBs in the history of the league could've pulled that off. Maybe 3 or 4? Favre, Marino, Montana and Brady?..MAYBE?

I guess. It just seemed extravagant to the extreme to me, and not in keeping with how I pictured him is all. Hey, if the dude likes to collect shoes, go for it. Just not something I understand. But I'm old...and I don't have that kind of jack.

And a wine cellar would be full of stuff you would share with your guests...shoes, not so much.

Whatever I guess, I still love the guy, it just seems...weird and a little lame to me. But again...whatever. If I think about it, I know quite a few people with collections of stuff...arcade games, guns, movie posters...guns...so I get it I guess.
