****The Official Save Our Chiefs Movement Thread****

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Organization:

pr_capone: Paypal / FB / Media Contact
Marty: FB / Twitter / Media Contact
GoChiefs: (Cassel's Reckoning) - FB / Research / Youtube

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This team is just plain awful. The only consistently good play on offense comes from Bowe and Charles. Daboll is, I'm sure a great person, but an awful offensive coordinator. While I understand that trying to lead this team is "like trying to drive a car with 4 flat tires"... it is incomprehensible to me how he can misuse the little talent that he does have. Romeo was the right man for the job regarding Belcher. He is still not the guy to coach this team into playoff contention and a Super Bowl.

*****. I hope the rumors of the Titans being interested are true. I hope you did get your walking papers on your recent trip to Dallas. I cannot wait for you to be gone from Kansas City. You took an ailing team and smothered it Cassel, ineffective FA, and bad picks in the draft. Statistically... you are the worst thing to ever happen to Kansas City Chiefs football. I will be thrilled when your termination is announced.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is still an unresolved issue with the donation from sports nutz and both parties are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Because I cannot afford to pay for a 2 hour flight by myself... we are only planning on flying a single banner. Effectively, we only have $960ish in the bank until the matter is resolved.

If the funds come available in time for the banner to fly, we will fly a second banner as well.

I'm not sure it really matters where. Just needs to be taped by some decent camera. Really, Clark hearing about it would probably be enough.

I think it would be a classy move by the SOC movement and the fans to fly a banner at the first home game IF we draft Geno Smith, Andy Reid is here, we resign our best players like Bowe and Albert, and bring in a few high profile FA's that simply says:

"Thank you Clark for listening-hope restored"

Beat me to it - my suggestion would be:

"Hope Restored - Thank you Clark"

What can we do to get the networks to promote the Chiefs drafting a QB with our first pick? They keep saying there isn't a top quality QB I call Bull shit with that as three stand out to be worthy of the pick. PTI just said we should go after FN Alex Smith. I hate that idea with passion.

Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson OH MY > any retread

Who gives a shit? This is the guy that was ridiculed in Philly for taking McNabb over Ricky Williams. Reid is going to take who he is going to take regardless of what the networks or fans want and I have him more faith in him making the pick then anyone else.

I give a shit. That is why I asked. I give a ****ing curr about it. Tired of the media telling the Chiefs should go after a retread that there isn't a top QB to take or trade down. **** that pick a QB with our first pick. Yes Andy Reid will take who he wants regardless. I want the media to stop mentioning Alex ****ing Smith or the absurb thought of sticking with Matt Cancer like Teddy Brewski said. ****ing dumbasses.

I guess I still don't get the point of persuading the media. It's not like Reid is going to say "Oh, well now all the Mocks have Geno at the top I guess it's okay to take him now!" You worry too much about trivial shit that has 0 impact on our draft.

I understand your point, but flying a banner for this is a waste of money.

Andy will pick who he thinks is going to give him the best chance to win. I hope its Geno Smith, but I'm not counting on it.

I have never called into any of these shows, but I'd like to call & say how wrong they are. I'd like to mention the fact we havn't drafted a QB in the first round from the days of Todd Blackledge & we havn't home grown our own QB other that the missfire with a broke dick Brodie Croyle. I want to vent lol.
