Pretty sure Madame Web is Sony. Of all the Spidey side characters the only one that could probably carry their own movie is Black Cat.

Point. And yeah, a Black Cat movie done correctly would be good.

Still a Marvel entity, though, and another terrible movie is going to be a body blow to the brand no matter who puts it out. Hasn't Fiege had his name in the credits of those movies? He and D'Esposito, both? Sincerely can't 100% remember....
