Can we officially change the "because Chiefs" mantra

Can we change this to a positive now, finally?

"because Chiefs" was spoken as a curse, a bad thing, we were doomed, unlucky and would always find a way to bad luck, bad breaks and losses:

THOSE ****ING YEARS ARE OVER! We have PMII

Can "because Chiefs" now be spoken as a positive?

Everything fell our way since Week 17 to get homefield advantage... because Chiefs.

We are the healthiest they have been all year for their playoff run...because Chiefs.

Veach is bringing in guys that all seem to make an impact... because Chiefs.

The Chiefs came back to win by 20 after being down by 24... because Chiefs.

The Chiefs hold Derrick Henry to 69 yards... because Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes flips it 50 yards to Sammy Watkins off his back foot that is the clinching TD to our first SB birth in 50 years... because Chiefs.

The Broncs, Raiders and Charges fans already get it... they are entering the era of Mahomes and realize there will be losses to the Chiefs that are unexplainable... because Chiefs...

If another #55, who will remain nameless, and that we will be facing in SuperBowl 54, didn't line up offsides last year, Mahomes and the Chiefs would be 4-0 in the AFC playoffs and would be going to back to back Superbowls...

IT'S A NEW ERA! WE ARE NOW "THAT TEAM" that has "THAT QB AND COACH"...

"because Chiefs" is now what the rest of the league will say when we continue to win!

Let's win the Super Bowl first.

This thread almost feels like bad karma.

Definitely no bad Karma... Bad Karma is thinking of "because Chiefs" in the old light... It's a new ERA and positive Karma and energy is afoot...

So glad someone started this thread. The chiefs have now won 3 of their last 4 home playoff games. Doesn't matter what happens in the SB. It was always because mediocre QBs or defenses. All those teams were eminentlty beatable and put themselves in position to lose games.

Yep. Though honestly I don't think my Chiefs PTSD will ever truly go away because when you have been beaten down for 30+ years that is hard to get rid of.

It was always absurd unless of course bc chiefs means,

Kept showing up for big games with somebody else’s discarded qb refusing to do what it takes to pay the price being bold enough to draft one of their own

Last yr is the first one that really could have ended differently had the ball bounced our way so to speak

The reasons prior were always related to the team not being good enough in critical areas.

It's always been stupid. "Oh, no! Everything didn't go perfectly! because Cheufs."

Lots of teams make mistakes or have calls go against them or let QBs scramble for insane touchdowns. It happens. Somehow, though, Chief Fan appears to think it only happens to them.
