Let's talk about the 49ers (Super Bowl Edition)

Well Chiefs vs Packers is what I had hoped for, but that's not happening.

Let's talk about Chiefs vs 49ers here.

They'll be tough.

They've got an elite OL, elite TE, a stable of RBs with elite speed, and probably the best collection of individual pass rushing talent in the NFL.

But in all seriousness, the Titans would beat the Niners. This is the easiest team we've played this postseason.

I think Mahomes and Rodgers are ELITE QB's in this league that can beat any defense.

I don't place Jimmy G in that category. Hence, I'd rather face the 49er's than the Packers. (even though that looks silly while you are currently watching the 49er's/packers game)

They have a game manager loser at QB. We all know how that usually ends.

And we have MVPMII, plus Kelce, Hill, Watkins, Clark, Jones, etc., etc., etc.

Lot’s of interesting sub-plots...

The legit best TE in the NFL (Kelce) vs. the national media’s latest flavor of the moment (Kittle).

The pre-Mahomes history of the Chiefs trying to win with former 49ers QB’s.

Great defense vs. Great offense.

Dee Ford.

And more.

A majority of our Super Bowl futility stems from our past refusal to draft a franchise QB, instead taking castoff QB's from the 49'ers.

This is personal.

This is for Gagliano, Montana, Bono, Grbac, DeBerg, and Alex Smith.
How dare you lump Montana, the goat, in with that other garbage. Even in his later years, Montana was a QB capable of winning a super bowl and could put the team on his back at times. That other crap - not so much.
