Everytime I think about that Chicken Fried Steak in Lometa Texas, it makes me think about all these famous food places in big cities that you see on TV. I bet for everyone of them that touts them selves as the best place for a specific food, there's probably a hole in the wall place in a small town that does it better.
On I70 right near the border between Kansas and Colorado there used to be a billboard for a restaurant claiming "Worlds Greatest Chinese Food."

Last night had a great early dinner at one of my favorite restaurants Sweetwater Grill.
https://www.greatamericanrestaurants...water/sterling

App: Tex Mex Eggrolls with Avocado Cream dipping sauce
Salad: Warm Goat Cheese with Spiced Pecans
Entree: Filet Mignon Tips over Penne Pasta in a Lime Tequila Sauce-this is one of the greatest dishes I've had in my entire life including top rated world restaurants. The flavor profile is incredible

Chicken Tetrazzini, I had some leftover chicken from the enchiladas I made a couple of weeks ago in the freezer and wanted to use it up.
