How are those 3rd down conversions helping Derek Carr. And oh ... Jared Goff must have trouble moving the ball since he can't convert a 3rd down right?!?!?

The Chiefs defense is not GOOD, but the yardage/scoring stats are all out of wack because the opposing offenses have had to play a ton of catch up, racking up numbers on prevent defenses in the process.

This game feels a little bit like a trap game for me- nothing about the 49ers overly scares me from what I've seen so far. I think they are a team on the rise but aren't quite in the top class of the NFL yet. What does scare me is that the Chiefs are coming off a a huge win against a team we have been historically bad against, have a Monday night showdown against an AFC rival next week and just received a ton of media exposure this season with the explosion of Mahomes and company.

Hoping we get off to a fast start.
