I have a hard time believing that half of the stuff on that show is real and not scripted. Like the bartender lighting up a cig behind the bar while serving drinks? get outta here

I had actually spent part of an evening in a bar in Austin that he tried to rescue. There was nothing on the show that was contrary to my experience there.

A buddy of mine in Echo Park got a knock on his door one day. A TV show wanted to rent out his place for a couple weeks - $20k. He was like "I'll be packed and ready to go in 5 minutes, place is all yours." |
