Frank Clark ****ing sucks

Guy has done NOTHING in two games. Barely any pressures to speak of against trash OTs.

Yeah, I'm in bitchy gameday mode. Don't care. I'm tired of paying out the ass for defensive players who don't make plays.

At least Justin Houston could dominate against bad teams after we paid him.

2nd round pick for a guy that cost 20 mil and can't get to the QB anymore? Maybe wouldn't be 20 mil since we have to pay 12 of it but a 2nd isn't happening.

Yeah right.

There’s another option for Kansas City: wait, and move him in 2022. Of the two options, this is probably the more likely one. The roster bonus would transfer to another team, fully guaranteeing that money for one year. So, when a team would trade for Jones, that would be their year-one salary, with the Chiefs again having no dead money. For another team then, they could look at Jones, see the 20 million dollar base salary in 2023, convert that completely into a signing bonus for an extension, only have to pay him for one immediate year, then get more salary cap flexibility in the next extension. That would allow a team to easily restructure or extend Jones, easily opening salary cap space that year. The last year of Jones’s deal has zero guarantees, so even if you traded for him, you could cut him a year later, no questions asked.
This suggests it's possible.

Yeah the other thing is Frank Clark knows he's not getting paid again. I was hoping this would be like a contract year for him. But he just gave up instead.

It's hard to imagine our pass rush could get any worse than it is now. At least with young hungry guys flying around on every play you don't get this "someone else will make the tackle" mentality that seems to be infecting some of the team at the moment.

Maybe we can pick up a DE in the first round. No idea what the class looks like for 2022.

Thing is you have to think Jones can get back to form if he moves back to DT full time.

Clark is a lost cause. Hasn't been good for a long time.

Yeah but will Jones' motivation go even more into the tank if he moves back to DT full time? His dream was to play DE (and I suspect cash in a big DE contract).

Welp that was a depressing 40 minutes, Chadiha is right... theres just too many side issues all adding up right now

Andy dealing with the Britt Reid thing
Reek complaining about money after the opener
Tyrann always complaining about money
Mahomes dealing with his goofball ass brother and girlfriend
Clarks legal woes and lack of effort
Jones lack of effort
Too many guys fat n happy, partying at the club after horrible losses

Our once elite locker room has become a shell of itself
