How are you holding up?

Just curious how the community at large is holding up these days. That's all.

Looking forward to the first weekend of everything being open. Gonna do a small bar crawl Saturday night, play some pool and make a little money.

Now if they'd just open the damned gym I'd be all set.

Based on what I've seen of their trainers, I think I agree with you. But they're nearby and cheap. Plus I have my own trainer.

Just got back from Shooter's World, the range lanes were full-up. Went to Macy's before then, needed new sunglasses. Drove past a Costco, not an empty spot in the lot. Treated myself to a cherry limeade on the way back.

I got my TEFL certification to teach English abroad. There’s always been a huge demand for native English speakers. It’s been a great experience because we get summer and winter breaks. Before the lockdown I went back home for Christmas and then spent January and February backpacking through Thailand. I stand to make a lot of money on my next contract because China’s not letting any foreigners enter the country so there’s a limited pool of qualified teachers.

That’s interesting. I know a guy that went to Japan to do that. I also know some teachers that do it online for decent money.

Why are you wanting out?

I was never going to do it for a long time. The other good part of this experience is that I’ll always be able to do this online part time as a side hustle when I get back to the states.

No I told him he was a joke and if he was not related he would not be able to keep his job.
