Rex Ryan figuring out how to make his defenses work in the modern era of NFL offenses isn't guaranteed. You already brought up Speaks and Kpassagnon as non-guarantees. Hitchens figuring shit out in the 3-4 isn't a guarantee. Veach drafting good players isn't a guarantee no matter what alignment we play in.

How about we just find the best coach we can possibly get? Find a guy who knows how to put his best players in good positions to stop offenses. Whether that's out of a 3-4, 4-3, or a defense where all 11 guys are in an alignment that forms the shape of a penis?
