I've been big into semiconductor and related stocks for the past few years and they've all been doing well for the most part. TSM has been the big star, but TXN has done very well for me, too. KLAC and STM have been strong. INTC cratered on me for a while, but it's been coming back and is still okay.

So many people are getting into mining. They've been able to charge a fortune for their chips.

I thought it would be fun to try it. I looked around and found Nicehash, a website that pays you to basically use your computer to constantly run and you get paid for mining. I set it up on my daughters laptop and let it run, forgot about it after a few hours until she came and told me that her computer was hot. I touched it and it felt like you could fry an egg on it. That was the end of my mining experiment.

They have a cool comparison chart of what you would be looking at as far as dollars per hour after electricity costs for different processors and mining equipment. The Bitmain Antminer will get you about 20 bucks per day. Sadly, my chromebook doesn't even make the list.

Crypto has been a big driver of demand for their cards, but their AI and datacenter chips have a ton of potential too. This semiconductor shortage has given them a big bump as well. They have few true competitors and are going to be around for a long time.

I got hammered so hard today several stop-losses hit, and my stop losses are so low they almost never hit. Chris Sain and his recommendations can go **** themselves. Only stock left I'm still green on is AMC that I bought back into a couple days ago...imagine that.

Biden is trash for the stock market, bring back Donnie Pumps.

Dumb take on the last part. Presidents don’t really have much effect on the market.

Besides, DOW and S&P are at all time highs. NASDAQ is very close.

Sounds like you suck at “stock picking.” You’re listening to youtubers and CP.

I disagree. When I saw the Vegas odds projected Biden to win, I started buying EV stuff...blink, xpev, nio, even tesla and they all took off. Just about any EV related stock I was watching had a bump in November with Biden being put in office, but they've also come back to reality too.

Donnie Pumps could literally tweet the market green, he did it too many times to count. Maybe you just weren't paying attention.

And I've made a LOT of $$$ listening to Reddit picks, Youtube and CP not so much.
