JFC.... can you get anything correct here? That's not an image of the actual mapped surface of the earth. A geoid is a representation of the surface of the earth that it would assume if the sea covered the earth, also known as surface of equal gravitational potential. It's a method to calculate surface elevations. It is not a representation of the shape of the Earth's crust.
