Super Bowl winning QBs...

Sorry if repost...

26-of-46 Super Bowl winning teams had starting QBs taken in the first round of the draft (56%...56 ****ing percent). Of those, 22 were taken in the Top-10 picks, the area of the board where teams hope to find their franchise guys. And 33% of Super Bowl winning QBs are #1 overall picks. A total of 14 first round QBs have been named the Super Bowl MVP.

Yeah, pretty much all of the top 9 teams are kicking themselves, except maybe Chargers and Panthers. Hell, Chargers should've taken him and then traded Rivers for good value.

I remember reading some articles criticizing the Chiefs for 'giving up too much' to move up...in hindsight, no one is saying any such bullshit.

Pretty stupid anyway.

To move up 17 spots (or 15, or 13, whatever) in the first round and only paying your first, next year's first, and a third is not a ridiculous price to pay.

I'm not some draft position point scale guru, but it seems pretty normal to me.
