Japans first indigenously built stealth fighter - gotta say, as 5th gen goes its not a very pretty bird at all, and looks awfully small as well

great, now Japan is trying to corner the market on stealth planes. 20 years from now they'll be a reasonably priced entry stealth plane for air forces on a budget.

Introducing the new Honda Raptor... Scho, that pic rocks so hard, outside of manned/unmanned stealth the F-16 is the most beautiful jet fighter ever made IMO |

To see four of these come in for a landing one right after another on Friday's or take off in the morning in order for training exercises still gives me the chills after 3 years. Our HQ office is at the end of the runway at Andrews Air Force Base just outside the perimeter. They come in and take off super fast. The noise is incredible

for some reason, even after being on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson and seeing/hearing lots of takeoffs and traps, the EA-6B I swear was the loudest god damned thing on that ship.

back in my day, we didn't have these tiny little ECM pods.. We had to carry these, both ways, up hill in the snow.
