*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

What a gift we've received as Chiefs fans.

NEVER take this man for granted because we'll never see another like him again, not only in our uniform, but maybe in the entire league.

Mahomes takes the lead in the NFL MVP award.

Mahomes led a 4th quarter comeback against a hated division rival while Rodgers lost to the Colts.

What a ridiculous thing for a coach to say unless they just won the SB.

The comment was about, "I'm proud of our guys... no practice... played as a team... yadda yadda yadda"

Still doesn't take away the fact that he said it after the guy he constantly laments he doesn't have as his QB beat him yet again.

I hated Shannon Sharpe when he was a Bronco, and I hated him as a Raven, and I hated him as a retired football player.

But, if I'm being honest, I think he generally has really good football takes. And after the 2017 draft, he dogged on the Mahomes pick.

And weirdly, Skip Bayless liked the Mahomes pick. But, Sharpe didn't stubbornly stick to an incorrect opinion, like the human milk toast Eric Mangini.

But, just once, I would love to see Sharpe reach across the table and smack the ignorant take right out of Skip's mouth. Like when Skip claims that Dak is better than Mahomes, or when he says Mahomes threw an arm punt to Hill in the SB, or when he claims that Teddy Bridgewater "outplayed" Mahomes.

Wow, what a call.

Really looking forward to listening to this game.

I'll mix in some Brent Musburger - he's really been a great addition for the Raiders. He's pretty even keel and gives love to Mahomes. Lots of drama in his voice. He called Mahomes legendary games in Oakland the last two seasons.
