PJ's probably good after 2000ish. I just turned off my radio around then. I'm sure that they've really grown as musicians. Eddie's what I have issues with. We were gonna go see him years ago, but it was on the tour where he put the mic stand through the Bush mask. I was young enough to disagree with Bush, but I felt that was over the line, and so I decided not to go

I've been trying to get my arms around Ween lately. So many different styles. It's pretty hit and miss for me. Anyway, I got stuck on their country song, Piss on a Rope and I've been listening to it over and over for the past hour or so. I'm a sucker for a fun, slightly raunchy song, I guess.

Stern has been pimping them for quite a while.
Glad people are still respecting Zep's sound, but for the best modern take on classic rock, I still gotta go AIRBOURNE [AC-DC meets Motley Crue, courtesy of Cobra Kai] |

I'm not one for big festivals but I sprung for all 3 days of Riot Fest after it was discounted to $100 due to the Ticketfly hack. Anyway, I was more than happy to read their announcement yesterday:
The following artists will play these albums front to back September 14-16 in Chicago’s Douglas Park: Bad Religion – Suffer (1988, 30th anniversary) Cypress Hill – Black Sunday (1993, 25th anniversary) Digable Planets – Reachin’ (A New Refutation of Time and Space) (1993, 25th anniversary) Fear – The Record (1982) Lagwagon – Let’s Talk About Feelings (1998, 20th anniversary) Spitalfield – Remember Right Now (2003, 15th anniversary) Suicidal Tendencies – Suicidal Tendencies (1983, 35th anniversary) |
