Dylan Raiola - Nebraska QB and Mahomes clone

This is awesome!

It goes even further; kid even walks like Mahomes.

19-year-old 5-star true freshman. 6'3" 230lbs vs Mahomes 6'2" 225 lbs.

Good stuff!

I mean, I get it. You want to be the best you copy the best and all of that. And Pat shows him love on socials and they have trained together and everything.

Still some try-hard shit. And I hope he sucks because corn just can't be good again.

I'm all for dudes copying his playing style. It gets a little weird when it expands to his hairstyle, though. And copying his pregame rituals starts to border on creepy.

Those highlights are anything but Mahomes like. He loves those swing passes and really anything 5 yards or less.

He's easily the best QB we've had at Nebraska in ages. He's a true freshman, and he's got a long way to go. But the fact that he works out with Mahomes and Stroupe is very encouraging as a Husker fan.

The look...yeah...it's a bit much. But I love watching the kid play and he's good at the podium. Seems like a decent kid who works his ass off and wants to be like Mahomes. What's not to like?

Go Bid Red ****ers!

I agree the imitation is a bit cringe, but watching him last weekend the kid has ridiculous talent. Made a couple insane throws that aren't highlights because the WR borked the catch.

Meh. This (people being critical) is a nothing burger. Kids (and 19 is certainly that) emulate star athletes that they’ll never connect with, let alone the shoutouts and what not Pat has given this kid. Our local HS QB is #15 and has a Mahomes haircut. He’s also a great kid, which is what I’ve heard about Raiola. People are letting their hatred/desire to make fun of Nebraska make this into something it isn’t.
