One that prevents him from being traded.

I think he's making upwards of 9 mil this year. Not sure of the top of my head what it is going forward.

Right now should be gut check time for these bums. These guys are professional athletes or at least they are getting paid like professional athletes. This shouldn't be a hobby for them yet they seem to put off a vibe that they have more important shit to do besides playing baseball. They need to get their asses in the weight room and start playing baseball like professional baseball players or they should quit and find something else to do. They are embarrassing themselves and this franchise.

And here comes the Royals annual 10 game losing streak near the start of the season.

This franchise is pathetic.

Hitters can only hit and this team can only win in late August when they have nothing to play for.

Gutless, pathetic chokers.

Club option for 12M next year. 1M buyout. He will not be back. He may not even make it to the trade deadline although at this point, not many teams want a fat, sullen, highly-paid .165 hitting DH with no power. They don't seem to garner much interest.

We should tie Ned down in his Houston hotel room, prop his eyes open with toothpicks, and make him watch this over and over and over and over and over and over....

I'm sure he'd do the one thing he knows how to do, find the one full kernel of corn in the pile of shit and talk about how it's a pretty shade of yellow.

Either that or he'd answer a question by replaying the event. Like we missed seeing it or something. So he avoids actually answering the question by restating the obvious. Like the kernel of corn is yellow and yummy!

Okay, I keep watching this over and over and it looks ****ed up. The throw is gawdamn awful. I mean, he had plenty of time to make a good play. However, Salvy steps forward with his left foot and towards the mound to receive the throw. I get that he probably assumed Davis wouldn't throw it away, so he instinctively steps forward to make the catch. But, the moment he does that, his body turns inward, and he can't get to the ball. Had he waited for the ball, he could have stepped sideways instead of forward and given himself an opportunity to catch the shitty throw.

2 Things:
1. I'm NOT blaming this on Salvy, just making an observation watching the replay.

2. By stepping sideways, he may have left himself exposed to injury by opening his body to the runner like that. So, in retrospect, while it may have cost us the game, it didn't cost us an injury to one of our most valuable players. Net win?
