Kerr just said in his PC that Steph is fine physically but this is only his 5-6th game back. Doesn’t seem like he is in the best game shape quite yet.

Well yeah, they're not going to admit any injury and give Houston a target.

What a beautifully played basketball game by Houston. Really didn't expect that.

So his awesome games when it was declared "HE'S BACK!" was just Portland getting together and saying, "Let's let Stef dominate!"

He shot 15/34 from 3 last series (better than his season/career average). He's just had a few bad games. It wouldn't be the first time that he's struggled in a big playoff game.

And yet somehow it takes more skill to intentionally suck for years and cross your fingers on how the lottery picks fall?

You're also ignoring the fact that the Brooklyn trade is only one part of what Ainge has done in the post new Big 3 era. An important part, no question, but only a part. Hiring Brad Stevens not the least among the many other excellent moves he has made.

Hate if you want, but your "logic" makes no sense at all.

Youre a Boston homer so this is like shouting into a well but if the Nets trade never happens they dont have half the players they currently have.

They have something like 7 lottery picks on their roster right now between the two injured stars and what theyre trotting out there currently.

A super team in the East is absolutely needed to counter them otherwise Boston will win the East for the next 5 to 10 years easy. There is no competition to what other teams gifted them to build.

They will dump on the Sixers.

If Lebron stays in Cleveland (a big if considering their hands are tied in terms of player acquisitions), I'd like to see the Sixers make moves for some of these supposed disgruntled stars in the Western conference. Shifting more all star players over to the East is what is needed to combat the quality gap between the conferences.

If you get three very good East teams (I mean better than Thib's Bulls, the run the Hawks had for awhile, or the current Raptors) then I think the arms race in the West will slow down a bit.

That's what's really needed for the league.

Yeah, of course dependent on if he gets over the yips. But I don't think it changes that you can always find a way to get two spacers on the floor at any time alongside Lebron in Philly if you have a good rotation. They easily have the ability to even add a couple more.

Yet when he came back he was "fine and "ready." Also was fine last series, but not now.
Go figure...

That Olajuwon team was so "Clutch" & "Double Clutch" during their title runs. Just ask Barkley and David Robinson.
Im not sure this team could ever match that one in "Clutchness" BUT taking down the Warriors would be quite an accomplishment in its own right!

I was at the game last night and the Toyota Center was rockin like the Summit used to back in the day!
