About a month ago, I did some rearranging in my Roth IRA. One of the things I bought into was a mutual fund (GAFFX) based on my financial adviser's recommendation. I put a few thousand into it, and its already up 24%.

I have an inherited IRA I got from my dad when he passed away three years ago. I put it to cash back in February so it's just been sitting there with around $50,000.00 in it. I didn't put it all in one stock but I did buy three stocks with some of that cash today. Three stocks that pay divs. AVGO(Broadcom) APPL (Apple) and WBA (Walgreens). I didn't go all in but I am looking to add to them as things go forward.

Wonder if Shopify is going to be the next big gainer after all this? Seems like more businesses are moving to the online model and they rule that space.

That one makes me sad. Three years ago I thought that one has GOT to multiply...it's been a ten-bagger since then and I didn't buy in.
