I’m hoping we’re just clearing out all of our point guards to show Courtney Ramey how much he would be able to contribute right away if he chooses us.

You know last year I was excited for Phillips to play with this team. So far I realized the reason I thought he was decent was because everyone else around him sucked so bad haha.

On the very first play of the KU-Texas A&M game, KU kicked A&Ms best player in the calf and knocked him out for a bunch of the first half. Then they put a run on A&M. That's the Jayhawk Way to win!

Of course, he was just executing the game plan.

There was a point last night in the first half when I looked at our stats...it was with 4:30 seconds left before halftime. We had only made TWO 2 point buckets. Geist had made a couple 3 pointers, Barnett had made 4 and Puryear had hit a couple free throws.

The other thing that killed me was the lack of taking advantage of the foul situation Auburn was dealing with...they had 7 fouls by the 8 minute mark in the first half and we continued to just throw up 3's and contested shots outside with no one actually driving the ball. Exact same scenario in the second half as well with no taking advantage of going inside. That's of course when we actually got a shot off and didn't turn the ball over.

I know the knock on Cuonzo was that he wasn't a good offensive coach, and he's dealing with a seriously flawed roster, but I'm starting to get a little disappointed in our game plan (or lack thereof) and execution. There must have been 4 different instances where we turned the ball over immediately after a TO last night. And playing CVL, Nikko and and Puryear in the same rotation leads to an immediate run by the other team EVERY single time.

Overall, it's good to care again. But jesus this team is frustrating.
They look confused, slow and sloppy the few games I have watched. I am not sure what the offense is, 3 and prayers.
