It could happen if the Saints are sitting a lot of their starters because they have HFA locked up.

If we had beat the Rams we'd be one Rams loss (and no Saints losses) away from that happening.

Right, it's just a silver lining that mitigates our loss a little.

I really wish Mike McCathy wasn't such a horrible coach and Green Bay could have just finished Seattle's season. That's a tough place to play if they have something to play for.

No team in the AFC will beat the Chiefs for the rest of the year. Period.

He's right.

Our pass rush has entered god level status.

At Arrowhead, it will eat ANY QB alive with Mahomes throwing fire on the other side of the field.

Raiders are still in it huh?

Wow, that's really scary for the Chiefs. Hope they can overcome the challenge.

And the refs.

They gave Dallas and Detroit division games which is fine but let the other game be an afc matchup. Titans Texans would have been cool.

Steelers and Pats are the only ones that can run with this team. And in two road games- we beat Pittsburgh and should have won at NE. Coming into Arrowhead will change the entire dynamic of the matchups. Our defense is so much better with the crowd noise.

Chargers always find a way to shoot themselves in the foot. I don't see Rivers being able to not choke with the game on the line at Arrowhead. He hates playing there and always lets the crowd get in his head.

Colts defense can't stop us. Bengals would dread coming back here. Titans don't have a healthy QB.

Texans would be the only team that can have the balance on both sides of the ball to make it close. Their WR's would toast our shitty secondary-again. But, I don't think Watson can block out the crowd noise and compete for 4 quarters with Mahomes. He is prone to mistakes and that would be the deciding factor in a close game.

Home Field Advantage (Loudest Stadium in the NFL) and an extra week of rest would be a great edge for us that I don't think any team will be able to overcome.

This! Our defense feeds off the crowd noise.

The Rams loss was a bitter pill to swallow. I really believe we are the better team. Maybe this will be the wake-up call they need to stop making boneheaded mistakes and realize they are not bulletproof. We have not even seen the Best out of this team yet. They have had perfect halves- amazing quarters, but not a Complete game with all 3 facets of the team all playing up to their potential.

For a team to come into Arrowhead and beat us, they will have to pretty much play that kind of perfect game and be able to overcome the best offense in the NFL. That is a tall order.

We've played a lot of these big games on the road. I'd be curious to see what happens if we can get these teams in Arrowhead. I think if we can get homefield I'd feel pretty good about our chances.

That said, this is the Chiefs, so the Colts will probably somehow sneak in as the 4 seed and come to Arrowhead and win a 63-60 game when Vinatieri hits a 50 yard FG off the top of the crossbar and over to win the game.
