Sorenson...rough return to lineup...
Safety Daniel Sorensen had a tough night in coverage (33.0 PFF overall grade), as he allowed all four targets to be caught when he was in primary coverage for 59 yards and two touchdowns, while also having a missed tackle. In the two games, Sorensen has now allowed eight receptions on 10 targets for 91 yards, two touchdowns and a 144.2 passer rating.

Sorenson is what he is. He'll get burnt, but make some good plays and generally be good against the run.

Why?
Sorenson is not a big hitter. He's not a good tackler. Seriously, why do people assume Sorenson is some enforcer type? He was a combine top performer and his athleticism is far greater than his ability to play the run or dominate with physicality. Is it because he's white? Cos the man sucks at tackling. Probably shouldn't be covering WR's man to man on wheel routes either, but I don't think any safety should be in that position. |

He sucked then and he still sucks now. Surprise!
We all had just fooled ourselves into believing no one could be worse than Parker and Murray. |

He looks like he's playing timid. First interview with Mitch , you could tell he was really concerned about that first game/contact after healing.

They gave him the wrong assignments and responsibilities.
I surmise that the reason he was out there was due to the fact that he "knows" the defense. Personally, I'd have played a couple of the faster, young guys. Sorenson can't run with wideouts on the boundary ... he can't even run with fast TEs. We lack corners in a league where you need a boatload of corners. FAX |

He should have been cut post June 1st.
He brings nothing to the table. Go with youth/speed - scheme savvy be damned. |

Lucas had zero ****ing snaps on defense. Wtf **** sorenson! Wishing they would have left sorenson on IR that I way they could bring back both Watts and Tardiff.

Sorenson has always been a liability in man coverage.
