Thornhill looked like a rookie. Breeland gave up a couple. Ward worries me a little. But the DL and LB'ers looked good. Overall the D looks vastly improved over the preseason performances last year. We good.

Nice as it might be to have, we don't need a defense that shuts anybody down. We need one that can slow a team down enough that they can't keep up, one that can actually get itself off the field sometimes. Nobody is stopping our offense. We get even marginally better on D and we're back in a AFC title game.
