*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That narrative is annoying as well but people like Bayless completely seem to believe it and ignore their eyes. No one wants to admit that they may have missed who the best QB was.

What’s even worse is people who eat that shit up and make no self judgement themselves. I have to hear it regurgitated from them over and over. As soon as I hear the first few words out of their mouths I completely tune them out and want to vomit.

If you watched Mahomes at all if you were a Chiefs fan at all and kept up with the team and what Veach and others were saying about him. Not to mention what others who knew him were saying, you knew this kid was going to be special.

Yet you had to argue with the same dickheads who just repeated what the talking idiots would spit out every week. Glad they are eating crow now.

Either way, the trade up wasn't as costly as I expected. If Mahomes turns out to be the guy, cool, not a bad price to pay. But if he busts and Foster turns into the next Patrick Willis or Ray Lewis, oh boy.

Strong enough performance over a long enough amount of time and they will all shut up.

I think he has a pretty big chip on his shoulder to keep proving the doubters wrong. There was a lot of garbage spouted about him before the Draft. Lot of garbage still being spouted about him, like comparisons with gimmick QB's Kaepernick/RG3/Prescott.

I think you would be correct in your opinion. He has even mentioned he felt he should have gone higher than #10, but man, he is in the best possible position from a team perspective

this was his BAD game. 3td, 300+ yards, and no picks. He missed several open receivers.
