The Chiefs won't start Mahomes because they can still use him as bait for a few more years. Bait for hope that the Chiefs are just this || close to winning a super bowl. Just wait until Mahomes is ready and "BOOM" we'll be a power house. No reason to start Mahomes and risk breaking that mirage until you have to do it.

The same thing that Andy "Schottenheimer" Reid does with each season. Reid is a master at Hiding the fact that the team isn't really a playoff level team until it's too late and we get steamrolled.

The Eagles got the better end of the deal. We got Reid and they got Pederson.

I don't really buy the chemistry argument. Mahomes was forced to play as a true freshman after getting almost zero reps. The starter Davis Webb got injured halfway through the season. Mahomes came in and it took very little time for him to start making big time plays with the receivers. He is a natural playmaker.

Having said that, I don't think Reid will let Mahomes play unless the Chiefs are knocked out of playoff contention.

Funny because he has some chemistry from training camp he was throwing touchdown passed to Tyreek Hill. That's a very week and lame argument to make. OP is and idiot.

I think that's why you do start the rookie. Not sure how it would be viewed by players, etc... but if you're truly talking about the best thing for the franchise, why not?

Half of this town full of idiots still think Alex Smith is an MVP just stuck behind a bad O-line, defense, and an offense full of talent less WR's that can't get open.
Did a mention Kareem Hunt now "sucks"?

People are dumb, and the Chiefs utilize it.

But who is gonna trade for him? I’d rather take my chances in the draft. I guess their is always Cleveland. They enjoy bad qb’s as much as the Chiefs.
