Fantasy Football Talk- 2017

Let's make a thread to shit talk and talk in general about this fantasy football season.

I myself have a hard time locating some good research materials and for one, don't want to spend a shit ton of time on it. By making this thread, I am actually spending more time on this fantasy football season than I usually do.

I have printed off some depth charts for WR and RB, which I think will help with the live draft and choosing players in mid to late rounds.

Anything else you guys keep handy for the live draft?

Post your teams and leagues here after drafting.

Good luck!!!

Pretty standard PPR, with 4 pts per passing TD but -2 for an interception.

The saving grace is how deep our league is with 14 members. So, the team projected to do the best has Brady and Rivers. However, he is starting BOTH Hunt and West, and his WR's are Hill and T.Y. Hilton. And he isn't a Chiefs fan.. not sure how he got so vested in them. I think Hill is because Yahoo still projects Hill to be our primary returner, which isn't true. After the 3rd preseason game, I was scared clear of Hill honestly... not just because of his drops, but the overall offense.

And, 8/14 teams go into the playoffs, so it is hard for me miss the playoffs. And by then, Luck should be back.

Yeah, keep Hunt in there. I would consider Abdullah and Williams at the flex, but I'm not sure about Willams's health at this point. Non-PPR, start Abdullah.. PPR, think about it a bit more I guess.

It's a non PPR league.

The league manager is a total douche for not making it a PPR league.

Drafted for my wife in her league.

QB: Prescott, Rivers
RB: Gordon, Crowell, Powell, Riddick, Duke Johnson, Jac Rodgers, Jamaal Williams
WR: Michael Thomas, Golden Tate, Allen Robinson, Devante Parker, Zay Jones
TE: Kelce
K: Succop
DEF: Jags

10 team PPR. Mother****ers started drafting a 2nd QB before I even took my first. Went heavy on RBs but I'll end up cutting Rodgers when Martin comes back from suspension.

I'd start the year off with Rivers. When he has WR's he's pretty good.

So the Florida game is a no go, right?

What about the game scheduled in Houston?

Now with the Miami game cancelled I need replaced for Ajayi. Put Abdullah in there for sure now so have the Flex spot open. Still not much on Williams groin health. I'd like Rawls normally but the Packers front is decent and not sure how much competition he'll get from Lacy.

That hurricane really ****ed my lineup!!!

Helped my gf with her first draft last night. It's one of those leagues where half the people have no clue what they're doing. Most of them Auto picked. Somebody took Theo Reddick at #5 overall and came back and got Janikowski in the 2nd round... lol.

ended up with

QB Rodgers
QB Stafford
RB McCoy
RB Ajayi
RB Fournette
RB West
RB McFadden
WR Keenan Allen
WR Tyreek Hill
WR Devante Parker
WR Corey Davis
TE Walker
TE Eifert
D/ST Steelers
K Lutz

Lot of risk but high potential at WR. That McFadden pick was a mistake, time ran out on me and I was looking at a WR there. Guess I should try trading McFadden for a WR to the guy who has Zeke.

The dolphins game being cancelled hurts me week one. Should I use Terrance West or Eifert in my flex week 1?

Rawls for Seattle said to maybe not play today as he's still not 100%.

Hard to find RBs to start and Flex this week with injuries, suspensions and hurricanes!

David Johnson likely out for the year. Seems I can't play fantasy without a top 3 pick going out in the first week.
