*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Heh, nice.

Hopefully he was just into the play and the moment there and he didn't turn his underwear into confetti with a Gates BBQ rip and tear ass blaster fart.

Incorrect. It's about arm strength and touch.

...if anything he laid his WR out to get blown up.

You will throw excuses out all year, after nitpicking every bad throw in the past.

And before you throw out the rookie card, you already deemed him light years above the last QB.

You can't have it both ways.

You expect a QB to have perfect accuracy throwing a ball back across his body, moving the opposite direction?

Ludicrous.

And Kelce was nowhere near getting blown up. He had to time to catch the ball, turn around and pick up yards.

Incorrect. Let's not pretend it was some major throw.

Plus, He's already done it. He's got the arm. It was a crappy throw. His touch will get better.

It was a no contact practice dude. DB's are closing while you SLOW down to wait for the ball.

Get used to making excuses. you'll be doing it a lot.

FWIW, low and away is where you’re supposed to throw it to keep your dude from getting killed.

But carry on

I mean...if he sets his feet to make that throw Kelce probably gets no YAC.

It was a great play by Pat with no downside.

If you lead your wr there, that’s when he’s getting blown up. All his momentum is going into the boundary corner.

Low and away from defender so the we can protect himself.

It’s not an ideal throw to throw it across the grain off your back foot anyway so it really doesn’t matter and I don’t think he was purposely trying g to throw it where he did.

But in terms of crossers in traffic, low and away
