When he does miss those, I have to remind myself that although he hits a ridiculously high percentage of those "let me show off how amazing my arm talent is" throws, sometimes he'll throw one that's just off, and that's just the price we pay for having a demi-god at QB. It's not like he misses a lot of those, and he hardly ever turns the ball over doing that stuff, so he gets a pass whenever he misses one here or there. That one he kind of flicked out there for Hardman, and you're right in that most of the time that's a strike and a TD, but he wasn't under much pressure there and he could've simply set his feet and thrown a precise textbook overhand pass, but he didn't. Water under the bridge. Last edited by Megatron96; 11-29-2020 at 10:50 PM.. |

Can anyone tell me why Mathieu didn’t lower the boom on Brady during that INT return?

Good stuff as usual, George.
I don't know what was going on with both Clark and Jones with stupid penalties today. Like Megatron mentioned, I think Clark's 1st roughing the passer was a bit of a payback for the hit on Patrick and maybe that's OK, much like throwing at someone after your star gets plunked in baseball. But the 2nd was just stupid. I was a little disappointed in that 1st drive. The trick play wasn't necessary, we have PMII. I understand the need to come away with points, but we could have had 7 instead of 3 by playing our game. Last edited by oldman; 11-30-2020 at 06:50 AM.. |

But I'm pretty sure he could've just run around Brady if he really wanted to. |

Nailed it on #9. With Andy and his player drawn up plays. He tries to get too cute. Sure use one once in a while, but on an opening drive when you marched the ball down the field, and it led to going for a 19-yard field goal is not the time. Take care of business get the big lead and then get cute...drives me crazy.

I actually like the lateral gadget play. Let's face it, our short yardage offense is rough right now especially where we're brutally outmatched by the DL. And Andy's brilliant gadget plays have gotten us lots of TDs this year. Kelce actually had two things wide open. The run was an easy TD or the pass. That was all execution (the glove).
CEH looked ok today but this type of game is exactly why we got Leveon. He was excellent today. CEH is a better back in most games but today was meant for Leveon. Especially with as much as they ask of him in the passing game. In terms of schedule... This was a huge win. Our magic number for the division is now 1. I'm also looking at Cleveland and Buffalo's schedules and they have a few potential losses in there. The magic number is 3 for a bye week but it's probably more like 1 or 2. We probably own the tiebreaker with Cleveland. Buffalo on the other hand is more even so we'll need to root for them to lose. |

The Browns are 8-3 and they may be the least talked about 8-3 ever. I think they looked like a Clusterfuck to start the season, and everyone just assumes that the Browns kept doing Browns things. And their defense is pretty good. I think they have a chance to beat the Steelers.
