Eventually, he speaks only the words necessary to fulfill his duties.

"The Washington Commanders select Isaiah Adams, G, Illinois."

Silent Cal sends a terse telegram to the Chargers to let them know they're on the clock. The telegram reads,

"You're on the clock. Stop."

While waiting for the next pick, a group of flappers comes out and entertains the crowd by dancing the Charleston.

On a minor note, Pick #84 has a typo.

Sederick Van Pran, C, Georgia should be Sedrick Van Pran, C, Georgia

The Commanders almost drafted him because a first name search didn't show him being picked. We would hate to see others make the same near-error.

A shirtless Jim Harbaugh races onto the stage, sweat dripping from his body to stain his otherwise pristine khakis.

"We need some tough guys, guys who have survived some things and have the athleticism they need to make things happen. Perserverence, men!"

The Los Angeles Chargers select Kalen King, CB, We Like Rapists State

I have no idea if this is a myth, but apparently somebody wagered Coolidge that he could get him to say three words by the end of the night.

Cal said, “You lose.”

Alright, I know it's only been a couple of hours, but we really need to get things moving, and I know Chargem doesn't mind me picking for him.
