It's almost like it's easier to score points when the other team is forced to play single coverage on you all game.

problem is most rim protectors in todays NBA are a complete exposed liability in almost every other facet. for example: Clint Capela currently in this series.

Don't think Kyrie is going to get the rest of those scrubs to stop sucking on the road. They needed more than just him.

There are tons of great rim protectors around the NBA just like any other generation. If they can't guard mobile/shooting bigs, though, their utility is significantly reduced and they can't play against teams like the Warriors.

LeBron is actually still much better defensively than Durant if you want to get into the stats (2.0 DBPM to 0.7 this year). Both are very good when they actually put effort in that area.

There's nobody in this league who can stop either one of them one on one (which is why teams send help at LeBron all game long and teams wish they could versus the Warriors but don't because of the 3 other HOFers). Kawhi the closest.
