*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

You need to do a Groundhog Day sendup. Bill Murray would represent Chiefs fans. Ned Ryerson can be every past Chiefs starting quarterback, and then it finally changes when when Bill Murray makes an ice carving of Patrick Mahomes II and gives him that famous poignant speech in the diner. You could probably put Herm in as the groundhog in that scene where Bill kidnaps him.

I’m thinking tomorrow we see a lot of blitzes thrown at Mahomes. It certainly hasn’t been working to drop guys into coverage. Now he’s got such a quick release that I don’t think it will matter but when you can’t intereupt the receive routes you have to go after the QB.

He's still got a 123.8 passer rating when blitzed and his yards per attempt goes up like 5 yards under pressure. There's just no winning. We have the Kobayashi Maru of QBs.

And who is Mahomes? Andie Macdowell (I think that’s her name)?

Alex Smith can be Dodgson...

“Dodgson! Dodgson! We’ve got Dodgson here!!! Ya see, nobody cares.”

Tyreek can be Samuel L. Jackson... “hold on to your butts.”

Yeah I'm not doing those scenes, genius.

I just need to figure out Ian Malcom and Dr Sattler.

Maybe just go extra goofy and make it Tyreek and Kelce.

You're basically getting the Chargers defense again with worse players, it shouldn't be anything he isn't ready for.

Better ILB. Better defensive line. Worse passrush and secondary.

im thinking surprisingly, they run the ball down their throats the first part of the game to calm the teams home game jitter?
