Thank you in advance if someone steps up to the plate and completes such a thing.
Excellent idea.

Should include:

Treatise on franchise QBs from 'Hamas'
Cassel 3:16
Cassel being 1-8 against playoff teams
Cassel's history of not completing passes past 20 yards.

A key stat from 2010 was that the Chiefs ran the ball for an average of nearly 40 times a game for just under 200 yards a game in the 10 games that went in the win column. I posted the exact numbers more than once here, but am not sure which thread(s) they are in, and I am too lazy to do the research again.

Too me, that stat package had far more to do with what happened in 2010 than the 27-7 stat did. That 27-7 stat is nearly as meaningless as Orton's 1-2 stat was during the last three games last season.

Barret,

You have to remember... CP is less that 1% of the actual fanbase... When it comes to reality, no one gives a shit about what anyone says here...

CP is just as out of touch with the majority of the fanbase as the majority are out of touch with this roster...

Just the way it is. Message board posters will always be the minority voice.

Considering how BAD pricko has been at predicting the Chiefs success (as well as grading drafts, which he's terrible at) I"d say this is a good sign.

I really doubt our record gets worse than last season unless Charles goes down or is completely unproductive. I don't expect the D to suck either. I think we'll win at least 8 games.

I figure we will be around 8-8 ... so anything from 6-10 and 10-6 is very possible.

but then again that can be said for 60% of the entire league

As long as Cassel is the QB on this team, my expectations and standards are going to be low.

I wasn't aware he had ever won a game against an above .500 team as a Chief. Must have missed him posting a victory against a 9-7 team when they were 2-5 or something like that.

I am just glad Sunday Ticket had that $96 dollar, single payment deal this year, because I don't think I would have paid $100 to watch him.

We disagree on that one, I am a Crennel fan. I think he actually knows how to Coach and lead men.

My only real knock against him, is that the players love him.

That has not worked out for the Chiefs in the past, hopefully this time will be different.

Also, he made it pretty clear prior to Pioli correcting him, that Cassel was not the answer in his opinion.

When? I don't recall Crennel commenting on Cassel like that. Can you paraphrase?

This article was a bunch of nonsense imo. The Chiefs have DL problems I don't think are going to be fixed until Dorsey is gone and some players develop there. Plus, they have a first season center, that is going to go a lil rough this year imo.

The three players that tore knees are still a question mark to me. Jamaal going for 1100 yards seems lofty coming back from a blown knee.

Cassel throwing for 3500 yards seems fantastic. I guess if he does that plus throws a bunch of INT's they could go 6 - 10, but I don't see what the writer says here coming true.

They are gonna struggle this season imo. They still need to develop linemen on both sides of the ball. If a OL goes down, what? Who feels good about that scenario? Not me. This team is still a season from becoming a formidable NFL force. They need these young WR's to develop, Baldwin and Breaston will fight it out for the #2 position while everybody on offense will need to get their heads around how Daboll works.

If they are headed to 6 - 10, Cassel won't get the chance to throw for 3500 yards. No way. I figure they'll be 4 - 6 and Cassel will get benched at that point. They'll play better as a young team later on, hit a few wins and break even. Something like that.

He beat the 09 Steelers, who missed the playoffs.

I think there was some other shitty 9-7 team he "beat."

Only playoff team was the 7-9 Seahawks.

And FYI, he was pretty unsuccessful against good teams in NE, too.

Yeah, that makes sense, someone had to win the NFC West the year that he went 4-0 against them, and was a 28th alternate PRO Bowler! He beat a playoff team!

That was the game that made me hope it was the real him. Too bad he had to wake up.
