How would YOU try to improve the defense?

Amid all the hysteria over our two wins and offensive performances, I'm just wondering what can realistically be done to improve the defense? Now we know Berry will hopefully be returning soon which should be massive, but with the way this offense is looking, just a slight improvement on defense could take us to the promise land yall. So does Veach sit, be patient and hope Berry is enough to improve things? Should he get on the phone and beg Breeland to join the kingdom? Or should he seek to make a trade of some sort?

I think I'd probably go with trying to get Breeland in and with Berry added to the mix I think the unit would be vastly improved.

...Breeland...Berry...Parker...Fuller...

With Nelson In the slot. Surely that would be enough?

They're not bringing in Breeland. That dream is dead.

The only hope for the defense to improve is that some of these guys pull their heads out. It is what it is.

We give up 3000 yards a game and hope we can hold them to 3 most drives.

A few more turnovers would be nice too.

Why is it "dead"? We've got the cap space and we're clearly desperate at the moment!!.

There's a reason he hasn't signed anywhere - he's obviously not healthy.

Assuming Sutton isn't fired, which he probably won't be. I don't know if Reid is influencing this but stop with the ****ing prevent to protect a lead. That's happened back to back weeks and magically, our defense looks at least serviceable when we're not protecting a lead.

I also don't know how to feel about this... Veach gave Sutton a few thumpers in order to play bigger. We scaled back on DBs to do that. Yet, it seems like we still want to run a shitload of nickel & dime.

I'm still surprised Reid is sticking with Sutton. We are literally seeing a growing trend of Jim Johnson like defenses. You'd think he of all people would love the idea.

Don't play against Hall of Famer and borderline Hall of Famer QBs who are playing from behind and you will see a big difference.

Miami said that's why they didn't sign him - they don't know when he'll be ready to play.
