I agree. I mainly just would have liked to see Porter get another game or two under his belt before the Crapshoot Invitational Games begin.

MPJ playing against UK would have been great for him, win or lose.

That atmosphere in STL would have been incredible. But alas...

I'm not complaining about anything. It's year 1 for Cuonzo. He's never made the tournament in year 1. He is a young coach which is steadily improving

I don't understand why Mizzou fans are obsessed with the games that don't matter
It's doubly impressive that he won all of those 20 games without MPJ - who was looked at as an absolute lynchpin to your roster.

Typical Mizzou. Get the tourney on home turf, get the allegedly best player in college basketball back, and ****ing lose to a pedestrian Georgia team that had to play the day before.

I do agree, that all in all, it's better than watching Kermie Ball. But at least Kermie won an SEC Tourney game last year.

Hope Mizzou can manage to win at least one NCAA game. That would be wonderful.

I just don't care about the conference tournament if our NCAA seed is practically locked up

Mizzou is definitely going to be on the 8/9 line.

Saw a first round matchup in Wichita vs UCLA with the winner facing KU in the 2nd round.

Report: Mizzou F Jordan Barnett arrested by university police Friday night
ADAM SPENCER | 1 HOUR AGO
MARCH MADNESS COVERAGE BY

It hasn’t been a great week for the Missouri Tigers. Even after star freshman Michael Porter Jr. returned to the court, the No. 5 seed Tigers couldn’t beat No. 12 seed Georgia in the SEC Tournament on Thursday.

Now, they’re dealing with an arrest, as it was reported on Saturday morning that senior F Jordan Barnett spent the night in police custody.

According to PowerMizzou’s Gabe DeArmond, Barnett was arrested by University of Missouri police on Friday, although more details were not provided at the time:

Shortly thereafter, though, MUPD released a statement saying Barnett was arrested for suspicion of DWI:

Mizzou released a statement about Barnett, saying it is aware of the incident, but that no comment will be made at this time:

For a team that is already sweating out Selection Sunday, this is just more bad news that could have been avoided.

Barnett is averaging 13.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season and is an integral part of the Tigers’ offense.

Un****ingbelievable. Unless you're a lifelong Tiger fan, then it's just par for the course.
