He's probably replacing Devey.

They will probably find the time to sign and release CJ Spiller in that process within 30 mins.

such a fresh ****ing take.

because it could NEVER be anything else, amirite?

...like the most penalized team in the league. or a defense that ranks at the bottom of giving up third down plays, or giving up the most runs of 10 yards or more...or your #2 and 3 WR's getting hurt, or almost half of your oline getting hurt?

This place has jumped the shark.

..it's a one trick pony with tunnel vision when it comes to defeat/victory.

Smith has played well enough to get a bye on this last crappy game.

Great point!

So which QB on the market did you have in mind?

I've heard something about Kaepernick being available. RGIII is still out there.

How about Vince Young?

If this secondary continues to get burned can we refer the Revis/Peters duo as "Revis & Butthead"?

Can't see Cam Erving being released due to the O-line depth issue. Also can't see Ramik released as well, due to the same thing as well. It seems that CB positions is a little maxed out, so somebody (preferably Gaines) has to go.

While it's great that Veach is trying to get the CB issue addressed, it still doesn't address the pass-rush/run defense issue as well as someone else already pointed out, the QB issue.

I'm telling you guys, the pass rush's main issue is in fact the secondary. Every time I watch live or go back and look at the coaches film from this season, I am amazed at how quickly QBs are getting rid of the football against us. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that only Peters has good ball skills of the group.

The receivers are either open immediately, or the QB just trusts his guys to come down with the 50/50 balls because our other corners don't handle it well.

This, and if they send a blitz it opens up another receiver even faster. Im intrigued by this signing. Low risk, High ceiling.
