But I read right here that Veach got fleeced, and Sneed was a terrible trade. Huge blunder.

This can't be right.

The contract is the sticking thing on these. Teams aren’t gonna want to give up a haul and give a contract when they can see it usually doesn’t work out.

The Jets are better with Reddick than without no question, but the process of how they got there is highly questionable.

Bryce Huff is the younger, ascending version of the same player essentially. Now maybe they don't ever pay Reddick but I still think keeping Huff was the better choice.

He really ****ed our game up last year against NY.

Dude didn't have a sack or a tackle for loss vs KC if I'm not mistaken. Plus only had seventeen sacks in four years.

Regardless what the stat sheet says I just remember him making Patrick run. A lot. And Patrick is as good as it gets at avoiding sacks.

10.0 sacks last year tells me he’s ascending.

KC won a SB while starting 6-7 rookies and those rookies were critical in that SB win and this one. That same class of players as well as the one before and after are a huge reason why KC is in a strong position to be the first ever team to three peat.

Picks are starting to hold more value because if they hit, you can do a lot of stuff while those players are cheap.
But that's ALWAYS been the case; this isn't some new idea.

A few years ago, most franchise QBs were on rookie deals and teams could spend bigger in FA. That element is quickly vanishing and teams with QBs on big deals are more tight with their money.

That, and teams don’t want to help KC.

Veach said it himself after last years draft.

So are we to the 'sign for asswipe money with some incentives' stage of the process yet?

Because I have little/no affinity for Boyd, but I'd sign him for asswipe money with some incentives.

That probably comes after the draft.

Regardless of any potential suspension, depth behind Rice is a good thing.

He tends to run with the ball a lot like how he drives. At some point, he’ll need to make some business decisions or he’ll start getting hurt.
