Interesting trivia: if you remove three pro bowls to WRs that were primarily for returns, then Tyreek Hill represents 35 percent of all WR pro bowls in the 64 years of Chiefs history. |

I find myself having a major bias in favor of the guys who played important roles on Super Bowl winning teams.
Being a good player for a decent period of time on a shit team doesn’t move the needle much for me anymore. |

I remember being kind of excited by Larry Brunson as a kid, but apparently I wasn't a very good talent scout at that age.

Can we just combine the WR and TE into one mountain?

I voted for Sammy Watkins for our Mt. Rushmore solely on his 2019 playoff performance. He gained Chiefs immortality for the clinching catch against the Titans and the long pass in the Super Bowl. I don't really care that he didn't play that long for us. |

Man, KC has not had a ton of great WRs, that's for sure.
I went with: Tyreek Hill S. Paige O. Taylor W. Davis (still remember that TD catch from Montana tip-toeing down the EZ line vs. DEN) JJ Birden (always had a soft spot for that guy) Dante Hall Bowe A. Rison Honorable mention: Sammy "Solar Lizard King" Watkins |

They always seemed like a very non-Schottenheimer pair of receivers to me. A ground and pound guy like Marty went with two diminutive receivers? Birden was smaller than an average woman at Wal Mart. |

Moving down the list, here's some trivia you may not know. Chiefs receiver Barry Pearson started his career with the Steelers, and after no action all season he got into a playoff game due to an injury by another receiver. He was the intended receiver on the play that led to the Immaculate Reception by Terry Bradshaw and Franco Harris. (The ball wasn't thrown to him due to pressure, but he was the receiver for the play as called.)

That TD catch by Davis from Montana will live in my heart forever. JJ just made some ridiculous acrobatic catches, but then would drop a ball that hit him right between the numbers, lol. But in a time when the Chiefs offense was mostly 3 yards and a cloud of dust, he was a fun watch. |

A Chiefs Mt Rushmore of WRs poll without even a mention of Bobby Sippio and we're supposed to take it seriously?
