Incredibly stupid move by both sides. The Jets only agreed to this trade in the first place because Reddick assured them he would play out this year. He reneged on that once the Jets lost Huff and traded away Franklin-Myers. Don't really get why the Jets even traded for him in the first place if they didn't intend on at least the possibility of signing him at some point.

Mentioned in the other thread... I wonder if they deal with the Raiders for Devante and Reddick is part of the package.

It does my heart good to enjoy the schadenfreude of the Jets. **** them and their fans. Most insufferable fanbase I've ever had the misfortune of engaging with.

Yeah if he said he'd show up and play and now isn't that's on him, but still dumb of the Jets.

Seriously doubt the Raiders are going to spend that much on their DL across Reddick, Wilkins, and Crosby.

What’s the point of swapping your only good WR for another decent edge?

I just know there's been some noise about the Jets (ahem, Rodgers) trying to get Davante. Wasn't proposing it would be a player-for-player trade, but curious if it would be part of a larger package. Who knows.

You're right though, that's a lot of money on the DL.
