He's actually very good at tackling after they've gained 7+ yards. Can't tackle for a loss or minimal gain, but sure as shit can lead the team in tackles by avoiding blockers and staying 10 yards off the line of scrimmage.

It's like Spaggatha looks at the box score, sees Diddly Dan led the team in tackles and that's all he needs to see to feel justified in playing him 90% of the time. Doesn't matter that he's just letting ball carriers come to him.

Appreciate everything Dirty Dan has done for this team but the second he's no longer a starter is the second the defense improves.
