I want to show you my newest sports card...

The sports card market is absolutely booming right now. I sold off enough of my other stuff to buy this. There are only 10 of them. It is indescribably beautiful.

I'm long time in the sportscard industry, worked at an auction house in Chicago for a while. Prices have exploded, Basketball is out of this galaxy.

My favorite football card is this PM with the righteous part of the patch from his draft night cap.
I take her out just to chat some times.

Market is booming, eh? Might be time to dig out my collection. I’ve got a stupid amount of quality stuff from the 80’s and 90’s in football, and then a crazy amount of baseball cards from the 50’s on.

surprising that the sports card market was booming. I remember I was spending all I could on them in my younger teenage years and then realized that I had no money and stopped and never bought another pack again. Had an entire binder dedicated to the Chiefs, it's probably still at my mom's house.

Cool card!

I have no desire to sort through any of my old stuff, but it sounds like I need to grab the Jordan collection and at least the rookie cards and see if someone will make it worth my time to off load everything else sight unseen.

Would have had a bunch of Mahomes rookie cards this past weekend if Goldin didn’t have so many problems with their auction. I’m trying to scoop up everything I can from his rookie season but this is an amazing card. Congrats!

Did you work at Mastros?

Geez, that's a nice one. there is a similar /25 version on Ebay right now with a BIN of 9999.00. Hate to try to guess what yours would fetch.

Just to give you all an idea of how ridiculous Mahomes stuff is right now. This card sold on April 25 on ebay for $86,000

I was going to put up some scans of Chiefs cards I had, but geez. I don't think any of them could be seen from the luster of those two examples of signed /10 cards.

I purchased a few nice Mahomes PSA 10 RCs about a year ago. Every one is going for 3-4 times what I paid for it. My nicest is a PSA 10 Prizm Purple Crystals #’d/75. I also wanted an auto but I’m not sure how much I’m willing to spend to get one.

I’ve seen several stories about the sports card market. I wonder why all of a sudden it’s hot again? Dad’s hanging out with kids showing them their collections? Interesting
