T hose chances have dwindled since 2 of the top weapons out/gone for season.
Good defenses can handle Hill and Kelce if there is no one else to account for.
Not impossible but much harder.

We didn't need Watkins at all. Could have gotten someone else forba lot less. Money should have been spent on a CB.

We needed him. Mahomes is a new QB and I wanted him to have weapons to gain his confidence right away. We don't need him as much now. But he was a good pickup back then. I'm more miffed we didn't bring in a less injury prone WR at the same price.

CB isn't fixing shit. I'd love to have a great defense. Not convinced that Grandpa Bob would do enough with the talent he's given. In an pass friendly league, CBs aren't the difference makers they once were.

If Texas and NE win out, we lose HFA to NE. We keep HFA against the Texans.

Depends what game we lose.

We can't afford to drop an AFC game.

The Texans would have the same AFC record as us, and then the Texans win strength of victory tiebreaker.

Not sure why we have to worry when we’re the team that has Mahomes.

Can somebody explain?

Which defenses have handled Kelce and Hill in the same game? None. Maybe for a quarter or two, but Both are having career years and are closing in on the Chiefs receiving record.

Mahomes also has Ware and Williams out of the backfield to make plays. both have great hands.

Harris, Deiter, Conley, Robinson, Watkins (when he is back for the Playoffs) The Sausage, and now 6'5 680 pound Benjamin. That is a Lot of weapons.

Once we smoke the Ravens this weekend, I think you will have a much more positive attitude on our chances. Then it will be 6 to win it all with 4 of 6 at Home including the Playoffs and SB.

Because everyone wants to say things are now different now with Mahomes. But they keep reverting to past failures as to why things will go that way. It’s gonna take some time for them to fully come around.

It does a fine job when it's working, and I feel like it's working better when it's in use, but the reality of it sets in that I wasted budget just for the **** of it when a good ol' Hummel would have produced the same, never breaks, and cost less.

Now I'm sitting here without an extra Hummel (defense), but I have the shiny Italian sander sitting in the trailer waiting on parts.
Boy do I know that feeling

Still working through our collective fan base of PTSD at the QB position for the last 40yrs. That is a long time so please be patient when we still hit the deck and fall prostrate on the ground when we find out what team we are playing against and how athletic their QB will be in Arrowhead.

we have to do this every week guys

build up the other team and convince ourselves they are unstoppable so when mahomes actually beats them his godlike status only increases

then we will focus on the one or two things the ravens did well and convince ourselves the chargers are so much better at it that we will lose next week
